Founded in October 2003, CjScotland is a handcrafted database of sources about crime and justice issues in Scotland and, where relevant, the rest of the UK and Europe.
Please note that some media, press release and broadcast links are short-lived. You can use the headlines for archive searches but may have to pay to access the original piece.
"A sense of an accessible Scottish debate being developed at last, and many different interests being tied together."
This is a temporary fix. Our established site at cjscotland.org.uk is in process of migration here. When the migration is complete then the default URL will revert to org.uk. All cjscotland.co.uk bookmarks will continue to work at that point.
Transfer so far: posts back to end of September 2006.
From the database:
‘Slopping out’, segregation and prisoners’ rights: headlines and links from 2004
Election 2007: justice headlines
Prisoner votes: March 2004 to April 2007
The closure of the Airborne Initiative 2004-7 .
